Right of withdrawal

A consumer entering into a distance service contract generally has the right to withdraw within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded.

Effects

Payments received are refunded in accordance with statutory rules. If the consumer expressly requested service to begin before the period expired, a proportionate amount may be due for service performed before withdrawal.

Digital content

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right may expire early under statutory conditions after express consent and acknowledgement by the consumer.
